Hi I’m Chula – proprietor of Beatnix Vintage. I was born in the 70s and grew up listening to my parents’ 1950s and 60s record collection. I’ve loved the era ever since – the fashion, the music, the films, the art and design. Beatnix Vintage gives me the opportunity to indulge my passion for the mid-century and share it with you.
I’ve been in Unit 22 since July 2017. There you’ll find unique, hand picked; art glass, ceramics, homewares, collectibles, small items of furniture and more from the mid-century and beyond.
As well as my marketing job, I regularly work in the Arcade. And when I’m not doing all that you’ll find me at various vintage fairs, across the South, selling vintage and retro clothing, hats, bags, shoes, jewellery and accessories. At fairs I also sell a range of Dolly Cool rockabilly/tattoo inspired jewellery and accessories and collection of Love Her Madly 1960s style mod dresses.
