About Wallingford Antiques Arcade
In the historic market town of Wallingford, the Wallingford Antiques Arcade is housed in a magnificent building that once welcomed travellers as a coaching inn.
Records show that an inn has been situated on the crossroads of High Street and Castle Street in Wallingford since 1550. It received its original name, The Lamb around 1688 and there is a record that the Prince of Orange stayed here on his way to London to be crowned King in 1689. In the 18th Century, a new wing was added to the front of the building and the archway where coaches were driven through to the stables, which is now the front entrance of Wallingford Arcade
Since opening in 1982, this Arcade has become a meeting place for collectors and decorators across the Thames Valley.
With more than 80 knowledgeable dealers under one roof, Wallingford Arcade invites you to browse a carefully curated selection of antiques: from period lighting and Art Nouveau glass to vintage toys, Oriental porcelain, militaria, beautiful jewellery, everything silver, Pokémon, books, vinyl records, bookshop, coins, magnificent furniture and more.
